How and when it got started!
The REVOLVE Oakland Pride FUN RUN (launched in 2015) is the FIRST and ONLY OFFICIAL ANNUAL race celebrating LGBTQIA OAKLAND PRIDE. Runners + walkers will circle the iconic 5K + 10K journey around historic Lake Merritt in Oakland California.

OFFICIAL REVOLVE OAKLAND PRIDE FUN RUN SWAG BAG DISTRIBUTION
Participants who have purchased the $25 commemorative swag bag can pick up their swag bag at the REVOLVE PRIDE WELLNESS Expo. Participants can pick up their race packet at the Oakland Pride 5K + 10K Festival on race day.
STARTING THE FUN RUN on RACE DAY!
All OAKLAND PRIDE Fun Run participants will pick up their race materials on race day in the Fun Run Zone. There will be two separate groups running different distances 5K + 10K. The color code for each group will coordinate with the race number. Green (5K) and Blue (10K).
Prior to the race, all participants will meet in the Fun Zone at Snow Park.
All participating runners/walkers will be provided with their race bib. All races will start promptly at the start line at the time indicated.
Race START TIME
10K + 5K BOTH START at 8:30am
DURING THE FUN RUN
At 2 FUN RUN STATIONS - along the route look for the 2 stations for support.
FUN RUN FINISH AREA
Upon completion of the race, participants are to regroup directly to the Fun Zone (SNOW PARK - 19th + Harrison)to receive their finisher’s medal. In addition, water & snacks will be available in the Fun Zone.

Oakland Pride Fun Run copyright © 2016 Spectrum Queer Media reserves the right to reject any entry and adheres to the standard running industry policy: All entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. The entry fee for this year’s event will NOT transfer to next year’s event, without exception.

By registering for the run you are agreeing to the following: Waiver and Signature: In consideration of your accepting my entry, I, intending to be legally bound, do hereby for myself and my heirs, executors, administrators waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages I may accrue against the persons and organizations affiliated with the OAKLAND PRIDE 5K + 10K FUN RUN + WALK™! run and walk, including but not limited to Spectrum Queer Media (including its members, representatives and officers), Ford Timing, all sponsors, volunteers, OAKLAND PRIDE 5K + 10K FUN RUN + WALK™! staff, subcontractors, agents, attorneys, and representatives for any and all injuries that I may suffer while participating in the OAKLAND PRIDE 5K + 10K FUN RUN + WALK™! or any of its allied or accompanying events, or en route to and from the events. I consent to the use of my image in photos, videos and audio recording and film, of my participation in all OAKLAND PRIDE 5K + 10K FUN RUN + WALK™! events. I attest that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained for this competition, my physical condition verified by a licensed M.D. during the last 6 months. As part of the waiver, I acknowledge that I have read and understand all of the above.
